to the ASME Tasmania website. This site contains information relevant
to music educators in our state, including Professional Learning opportunities,
meetings and conferences. As an organisation we are keen to work with
our members to create a unified voice for music education in Tasmania.
This year we are making a concerted effort to bring together educators through a variety of forums including Regional Meetings, Professional Learning opportunities, TASME News - our regular publication, and electronic e-updates to our members.
In Tasmania we have a huge diversity of public and private music education stakeholders drawn from infant, early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary sectors. Additionally our organisation encompasses those involved in itinerant, instrumental, retail, choral, classroom, curriculum, and music therapy. As an organisation TASME aims to unite these widely varying specialisations and is keen to assist its members in working together for a common goal - Excellence in Music Education!
